Do not engage with con artists; instead, hang up the phone immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Never send money to an unknown person (even with online dating). If someone asks you to pay them using prepaid gift cards or wire transfers, consider this a significant red signal that you are being scammed.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to frauds, you can never be too cautious these days.
